Brain Surgery

Georgia Brain & Spine Center offers comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment of diseases of the brain. These include bleeding in or around the brain (intracerebral hemorrhage, subdural hemorrhage, and epidural hemorrhage), hydrocephalus, vascular disease, stroke, pituitary tumors, and brain tumors. We use both non-surgical and surgical treatments with successful outcomes. We utilize the latest diagnostic tools to determine a patient’s correct diagnosis in a timely fashion. If surgery is indicated, Dr. Dagnew uses state-of-the-art technology in the operating room, including the latest microscopes, endoscopes, ultrasound, awake surgery with brain mapping, and stereotactic image guidance surgery to achieve successful treatment and excellent outcomes. He uses minimally invasive brain surgery to achieve the least brain disturbance, pain, and scarring and to facilitate the quickest recovery possible. We measure our success by our ability to treat disease successfully and help our patients return quickly to normal life.
